I chose the colour grey because it's one of my fiance's favourite colours, but the texture at the end of the bedspread adds a soft feminine touch and a bit of white and black helps add some cripsness to it.
My mum was a genious and helped by making the curtains which are actually just two double bedspreads that we got on sale at Spotlight with some gathering tape sewn across the top to ruffle it a little, and then we hooked them up - you should see my daughters, we did the same thing though her curtains were made from these gorgeously embroidered bedspreads with fairies and flowers (my bro's sleeping in that room atm so I can't take a pic).
Anyway, I was wondering what kind of "style" this would be considered? I'm trying to work out what kind of taste I have.
Here's the pic!
(Disclaimer: yes, the wall colour is bleh, but I rent an old house and it hasn't been painted for like.. 20 years.. so it's to be expected!)
Very nice- a little bit glam!
